Hi peps...Its been a long time since I last been to my blog and I'm surprised to know that its still alive. I didn't get to post any ramblings for year 2006. Therefore I'm going to summarize those 2006 recaps. Where to start? Let's see c",)
Let me start of when I worked as a student care teacher at STA. I had worked there for about 6 months and it is really one tremendous experience for me. Let me introduced to you my 8 P2 students (student not in photo- Hong Yao):

To be honest it is quite difficult for me to teach these kids. I remembered that I have a hard time getting closer to them. I have to be down to earth and childish. I have to stood to their level. I remembered this one particular day whereby I played hide and seek with them on a Saturday. I gathered only one or two students but instead all the students joined in. I was very overwhelmed by the response and I managed to get them to know that I exist. I'm happy that I am no longer a stranger to them. They accepted me. It was really a memorable day for me. The funny thing was that, I didn't know their names and couldn't recognized some of their faces...hahaha...Finding them is so easy because the centre is not that spacious..The hilarious thing is that I didn't know how many students hide..They kept on telling me who and who that I have not search for..I was like???..who are they?? lol. But not to embarrassed myself I said that I gave up...You guys win..hahaha...then the kids finally came out from their hideout....hahaha. I'm not surprised that some hide in the cupboard...hahaha...But to tell you the truth, even though I saw them , I pretend not to see them...Kids are simple to please. I really miss those days.
Let's go on, my 9 P4 students, they are:

These students are even harder to control. It's tough, but I managed to, somehow. Well, I have to start somewhere right.
I also came out with a mailbox whereby these kids could drop me mails. Its kinda stupid but it works miracle. I have received tons of mails from these kids. Some are not even from my students. I'm not even surprised to find ruler, coins and even rubbish in my mailbox...lol..I find them so cute and adorable in their own unique ways but not to mention when they are mischievous. They tend to make me upset and mad. (lol). They can be mischievous and stubborn. I even come out with a theme of earning fake coins made of paper if they behave. In return they have shopping day on every Friday. They could shop for tidbits, drinks, stationery , balloons etc..in my cupboard...hahaha...You could not believe how much I spent my earnings for these kids. But its worth it. I definitely didn't regret any of it. But, it does make other students from other class envious. They will tease my students endlessly or some may even begged me to let them be in their class..lol..
Well, I love them all the same.
I have suggested to my supervisor, Mrs Leela and discussed with my colleague, Ms Durga that we should have an IDOL TEACHER contest. Let the students vote for their best teacher. I guess that Ms Durga would win the contest but it turned out otherwise. I was the winner instead..lol..I won the vote by 2 differences..a tough fight....lol.
I was surprised and happy at the same time. Didn't expect to win. Miss all my students and the rest of STA students so much. They must have miss me buying sweets and balloons for them. I used to visit them but not anymore. I do hope that they know I treasure them a lot. every single memories are very precious. Thank you my angels.
